Randi and Buzz go back to the Springfield Inn where they sleep together. Roger tries to appease Jenna by asking Mindy to design new clothes but she is not having it. Roger leaves to meet Gilly and Jenna finds a note from Roger to Holly where admits opening up emotionally to her. Buzz and Randi are at a dinner party at the Lewis’s. Buzz is desperate to get rid of Randi. Upset about the note, Jenna gets dolled up for a night out on the town. Roger crashes the Lewis’s party and is angry that Hart is there. Buzz witnesses the tensions between Hart, Roger and Billy. Buzz is asked to drive Hart home. He stops by the country club and is accosted by Roger demanding to know where he took Hart. Buzz witnesses the tensions between Hamp and Roger.
Buzz then goes to the Springfield Inn when he hears Jenna singing on the piano. She sings “Come Rain or Come Shine” and then sings “Sooner or Later” to him flirtatiously. Afterward, they discuss her relationship with Roger and Buzz tells her that she deserves someone who will appreciate her. He implies that he would. They kiss and she agrees to go up to his room with him, but he remembers Randi. Just when Buzz is about to succeed in having his way with Jenna, Randi interrupts proclaiming that she is Buzz’s wife. Jenna gets angry and storms out. The next day, Buzz attempts to convince Randi to leave town until she finally agrees. Buzz and Vanessa spend their first day working together, which doesn’t go over well for Buzz. Buzz runs into Jenna and tries to smooth things over with her. He asks her to go out with him and proclaims that her relationship with Roger won’t last. Jenna arrives at Spaulding and is still angry at Roger. He tries to make her happy by showing the painting her had commissioned for her. But, she is not amused. Roger begins to open up to Jenna a bit about Hart. They are able to make up and make love in her office. Buzz overhears Mindy talking about Eve at Lewis oil just as Buzz accuses Nadine of being jealous of Jenna. Vanessa catches Buzz and Nadine at Lewis and begins to become suspicious. Harley gets a phone call with a lead tracing Buzz to San Jose. Harley takes the money meant for her and Mallet’s wedding and starts making her way to California. Mallet comes home to find she’s gone.
