SUMMARY: (April 27-May 10, 1993)
Buzz goes to the airport with the intention of leaving town. He attempts to get Nadine to meet him with the money and when she doesn’t answer he tries Roger but he can’t get him on the phone. As he is trying to leave he is plagued by the thoughts of Harley, Frank, Vanessa, Billy, and Nadine. Randi shows up at the airport and exclaims Buzz’s name as Mallet looks on. He approaches and says “Hiya Buzz.” Buzz takes off and hits a cop with a suitcase when Mallet tries to arrest him. Buzz hides in the women’s bathroom and Randi dresses him in a dress to hide him from Mallet. When Randi realizes that Buzz had no intention of sending for her, she blows his cover. Mallet jumps him and takes him into custody. Mallet handcuffs him to the bedpost at the Springfield Inn. Buzz drops his accent and tells Mallet the details of why he left. While Mallet is on the phone with Harley, Buzz manages to get the cuffs off the bed post and hits Mallet on the back of the head. Buzz runs to Jenna. Jenna helps take the handcuffs off of him. She finds out that he was the one who leaked the information about H.B. Buzz begs her to help him find a place to hide. She agrees but Roger comes home and she hides Buzz under the bed. When Roger is out of the room, Jenna gives Buzz the keys to her yacht for a place to hide. Later, Nadine overhears Jenna on the phone with Buzz and finds out he is on the yacht. Nadine shows up on the yacht and asks Buzz not to tell anyone about the baby. Buzz waits for Jenna. Jenna sneaks away from Roger to meet Buzz. When Jenna shows up she brings him money and tells him he can use the Spaulding jet. They dance to “If Ever I Would Leave You.” Buzz tells her that he is crazy about her and no one will ever feel about her the way he does. She tells him bye and leaves. Buzz orders 500 steak dinners for Frank and Eleni’s wedding. He picks up the scarf Jenna left behind. The next day is Frank and Eleni’s wedding. Buzz makes Grady take him to the wedding and he hides in the potting shed to watch. Jenna is on the way to the airport to meet Buzz but the 5th street detour takes her to the wedding. Jenna catches Eleni’s bouquet. Buzz sees her and pulls her into the potting shed. He asks her to go away with him to Pittsburgh. She is tempted but declines the invitation telling Buzz that she knows she's always going to regret not running away with him. Harley thinks that she spotted Buzz among the crowd.
